Cardboard portfolio partly illustrated, 30 b/w illustrations on the reverse, containing 30 loose cardboard sheets, as issued, depicting nude women in the shape of letters in duotone, texts in four languages on verso. This is a Quadrat-Print (Kwadraad-Blad) of De Jong & Co. lithographic and offsetprinters. The Quadrat-Prints are a series of experiments in printing ranging over the fields of graphic design, the plastic arts, literature, architecture and music. They are edited by Pieter Brattinga and were not for sale.

(Very scarce in this condition). 87 full-page halftone plates from photographs taken between 1929 and 1936, organized in two parts, with titles listed on separate pages. Has publisher's printed paper label on spine. Evans's masterpiece, and one of the most influential photography books of the twentieth century. A must for any ambitious photobook-collector!
